Leftover Bullets Biography

Οι Θεσσαλονικείς Hard Rockers, από το καλοκαίρι του 2013, βάζουν στο τραπέζι τη δική τους πρόταση και κουβαλάνε μαζί τους βρωμιά, αλητεία κι αγριάδα. Εμπνευσμένοι από τη μουσική αλλά και τη στάση της hard 'n heavy δεκαετίας '85 - '95 χαϊδεύουν τις vintage επιρροές τους ρίχνοντας τις "εναπομείναντες/παρατημένες σφαίρες" τους εκμοντερνισμένα στο ψαχνό της δεκαετίας που διανύουμε.

ΤO ONOMA
H πενταμελής ομάδα ιδρύθηκε τη στιγμή που καθιερώθηκε το κύμα εγκατάλειψης της χώρας μας από νέους προς το εξωτερικό. Όπως έχουν δηλώσει και οι ίδιοι, "Είδαμε τις παρέες μας να αποδεκατίζονται φεύγοντας ο ένας πίσω από τον άλλον, και μείναμε κάποιοι εδώ σαν παρατημένοι. Αλλά είμαστε σφαίρες..."

Η MOYΣIKH
Ένα ηλεκτρικά φορτισμένο πεδίο που πατάει στο hard rock, ακουμπάει το heavy, και φλερτάρει με το Punk, παιγμένο με τον plug and play τρόπο, αποφεύγοντας τα sound effect και με σεβασμό προς τον αναλογικό τρόπο.

ΟΙ ΣΤΙΧΟΙ
Με έντονα γερμένη τη ζυγαριά θυμωμένα προς τα κοινωνικά δρώμενα, δεν αποφεύγουν να σκάψουν βαθιά στα συναισθήματα και παράλληλα να φιλοσοφήσουν.

Η ΠΟΡΕΙΑ
To καλοκαίρι του ‘15 ηχογράφησαν το παρθενικό τους τραγούδι "80's Child'' κυκλοφορόντας το σε μορφή lyric video, γεγονός που δεν πέρασε απαρατήρητο από τον Μίλτο Καρατζά και την εταιρία "Final Touch - The Label", υπογράφοντας 2ετές συμβόλαιο. Το "80's Child" κυκλοφόρησε τον Μάιο του ‘16 υπό τη σφραγίδα της εταιρίας σαν πρώτο single του debut album που ονομάζεται "Virtue & Vice" και κυκλοφόρησε στις 30 Νοεμβρίου μαζί με το δεύτερο single “While I’m on the round” το οποίο συνοδεύεται κι από το πρώτο video clip τους. Τον Ιανουάριο του ‘17 κυκλοφόρησε το δεύτερο κατά σειρά video clip, με τον τίτλο “Might be miles away” και έχουν ακολουθήσει άλλα δύο το ίδιο έτος, τα “Virgin Queen” και “Feeding the flame”. Το καλοκαίρι του ’18, το γκρουπ μπήκε στο στούντιο ετοιμάζοντας το 2ο άλμπουμ λήγοντας το συμβόλαιο με την "Final Touch" και υπογράφοντας με την “SoldOut music records” στην οποία παραμένει μέχρι και σήμερα. Τον Δεκέμβριο του '18 κυκλοφόρησε το video clip με τίτλο “Confused”, το οποίο είναι και το πρώτο κομμάτι του δεύτερου δίσκου που δόθηκε στη δημοσιότητα. Τελικά, το “Tell mama we’re doing ok” κυκλοφόρησε τον Απρίλιο του 2020 σημειώνοντας αξιοσημείωτη επιτυχία παρόλο της καραντίνας με εξαιρετικές κριτικές, και αναγκάζοντας την Αθηναϊκή εταιρία “b-other side” να το κυκλοφορήσει σε μορφή βινυλίου ένα χρόνο αργότερα, σημειώνοντας sold out στους 2 πρώτους μήνες της κυκλοφορίας του! Το συγκρότημα κυκλοφόρησε ακόμα 3 single/video (“Wasted Silence”, “Free speech for sale”, και “Trailless Smile” από το 2ο άλμπουμ, καθώς και ένα Film/Documentary live in studio με τίτλο “It’s Alive” για της ανάγκες της προώθησης λόγω καραντίνας. Στο “It’s Alive” παρουσιάζουν όλα τα κομμάτια του “Tell mama we’re doing ok” live στο studio, δίνουν συνεντεύξεις και μιλούν γι αυτούς αρκετές προσωπικότητες της Ελληνικής ροκ σκηνής (Magik De Spell, Tsopana rave, Μωρά στη φωτιά κ.α). Αξίζει να σημειωθεί οτι πρόσφατα (2023) το Metal Hammer συμπεριέλαβε το “Tell mama we’re doing ok” στα καλύτερα 220 ελληνικά heavy άλμπουμ από την αρχή του heavy ήχου μέχρι και σήμερα!!! Ο Διάδοχος του Tell mama πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει από την “Enterfraime entertainment” υπό την άδεια της SoldOut music Records στα μέσα της Άνοιξης του ‘23 και τιτλοφορείται:“The Flower” . Το πρώτο Single/Video λέγεται: “No majesty” και δόθηκε σε κυκλοφορία στις 6 Ιανουαρίου του 2023. Στην μέχρι τώρα πορεία τους μετράνε αρκετές δεκάδες εμφανίσεων κυρίως στη Θεσσαλονίκη και την Αθήνα, συμμετοχές σε festival, και άλλες σε αποκλειστικά gigs, ενώ έχουν περιοδέψει και στην Βουλγαρία για 3 εμφανίσεις με τους Άγγλους Scandal. Οι Γιώργος Καραθανάσης (lead guitar), Γιάννης Βογιατζής (vocals) και Γιώργος Δημητριάδης (drums) είναι τα ιδρυτικά στελέχη της μπάντας (ο Γ. Δημητριάδης αντικατέστησε τον αρχικό ντράμερ στην πολύ πρώιμη εποχή του γκρούπ). Ο Δημήτρης Αργυρόπουλος «κλείδωσε» στη θέση του μπασίστα το 2016, και μετά την αποχώρηση του Γιάννη Τέντσου από τη θέση του ρυθμικού κιθαρίστα, το γκρουπ ολοκλήρωσε το line-up του με τον Βασίλη Μπάγα να παίρνει τη θέση του.

The Hard Rockers from Thessaloniki have been presenting to us their proposal carrying with them dirt, vagrancy and wildness since the summer of '13. Inspired by the music and the attitude of the hard n heavy decade 85-95 they shoot with their “Leftover Bullets” to kill in our decade.

THE NAME
The 5 member band came together when a wave of young people started leaving Greece. According to them “We were looking at our friends leaving one after another and us left behind. But we are bullets..”

THE MUSIC
An electrified field stepping on Hard Rock, close to Heavy whilst playing with Punk played with Plug and Play leaving out all sound effects.

THE LYRICS
Clearly angry with everything going on but not avoiding to dig deep in the feelings with a hint of philosophy.

THE HISTORY
The summer of '15, they recorded their first song "80's Child", releasing it as a lyric video, which came to notice of Miltos Karatzas and "Final Touch - The Label" firm, signing them a two-year contract. "80's Child" released in May of '16 under the label of "Final Touch" as the first single of the first album "Virtue and Vice", which was released on the 30rd of November, side by side with "While I'm on the Round", their first video clip. In January '17 they aired the second video clip, "Might be miles Away", followed by two more on the same year, "Virgin Queen" and "Feeding the Flame". The summer of '18 found the band in the studio preparing their second album, terminating the contract with "Final Touch" and signing under "SoldOut music records" label, up to now. In December '18, "Confused" was released as the first video clip of their second album. Finally, "Tell mama we're doing OK" was released in April 2020, showing remarkable success despite the quarantine, and receiving great reviews, forcing the "b-other side" label from Athens to release the album in vinyl. Two months were needed for the vinyls to be sold out. Three more single/videos were released from their second album, ("Wasted Silence", "Free Speech For Sale" and "Trailless Smile") and a Film/Documentary live in Studio, entitled "It's Alive" as a presentation of the second album, because of the quarantine. In "It's Alive", they present every song of "Tell mama we're doing OK" live in studio and the band members and other personalities of Greek Rock Scene, are interviewed (Magic De Spell, Tsopana Rave, Mora sit Fotia) It's worth mentioned, recently (2023) Metal Hammer magazine included "Tell mama we're OK" in the best 220 greek heavy albums of all times!!! The successor of "Tell mama we're doing OK" will be released by "Enterfraime entertainment" under the license of "SoldOut music records" in the mid Spring of 2023 with the title "The Flower". The first single/video is called "No Majesty" and was aired on January 6th of 2023. Up to now they count numerous appearances mostly in Thessaloniki and Athens, lined up in Festivals and other exclusive gigs, while they have toured in Bulgary for 3 appearances with "Scandal" from England. George Karathanasis (lead guitar), Giannis Vogiatzis (vocals) and George Dimitriadis (drums) are the foundary members. George Dimitriadis replaced the first drummer of the band in the early era, Dimitris Argiropoulos (bass) was "locked" in his place in 2016, and after Giannis Tentsos' withdrawal, the line-up was completed with Vasilis Mpagas (rhythm guitar).
